The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Sports and Culture Department is taking a proactive step towards fostering a healthier lifestyle among Islamabad residents. In an effort to encourage physical and mental well-being, the CDA is introducing a series of complimentary yoga sessions starting from May 2nd.

The free yoga classes will be conducted at two convenient locations: the Multipurpose Ground in Sector F-6 Markaz and Mehran Gate near Baradri in F-9 Park. To cater to diverse schedules, the sessions will be split into morning and evening shifts, running from 6 am to 8 am and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Individuals of all ages and genders are welcome to participate in these classes at no cost.

Recognizing the importance of prioritizing health, especially among the youth, the CDA aims to provide a platform for residents to engage in physical activities that promote overall well-being. In addition to yoga, coaching classes for basketball, lawn tennis, and futsal will be offered specifically for children under 16 at the Multipurpose Ground in Sector F-6 Markaz and Sector G-11 Multipurpose Ground.

To ensure a smooth experience for all participants, dedicated helpline numbers (051-9201607 and 0331-5181508) have been established by the Sports and Culture Department to address any inquiries or concerns from the public.

Residents of Islamabad are encouraged to seize this opportunity to enhance their physical and mental health by joining the free yoga sessions starting May 2nd. Embrace the benefits of yoga and prioritize your well-being!

The initiative by the CDA's Sports and Culture Department to offer free yoga sessions and coaching classes reflects a commitment to promoting a culture of health and fitness in the community. By providing accessible opportunities for residents to engage in physical activities, the CDA is empowering individuals to prioritize their well-being and lead healthier lifestyles.
