Mob Violence Erupts in Madyan Over Blasphemy Accusations

On Thursday night, a tragic incident unfolded in the Madyan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat district, where a man lost his life amidst accusations of desecrating the Holy Quran. The police confirmed the unfortunate event, which resulted in eight individuals sustaining injuries during the chaos that ensued.

The suspect, initially taken into police custody, faced a harrowing fate as a violent mob overpowered the authorities, seized him, and set fire to the police station along with a police vehicle. The suspect was subjected to a brutal act of violence by the enraged crowd, highlighting the severity of the situation.

Social media footage captured the distressing scene of a mob surrounding a burning body on the street and a large gathering outside the police station.
