The National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) is a crucial document issued by the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) for eligible Pakistani citizens residing abroad or having connections overseas. This card allows Pakistani citizens with dual nationality to travel to Pakistan without the need for a visa, making their visits more convenient and hassle-free.

To apply for NICOP, any Pakistani citizen must have a valid passport number. There are two convenient ways to apply for NICOP: by visiting a NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through the Pak-Identity website. At the NRC, your information will be recorded, and you will receive a printed form for verification. Alternatively, you can opt for the online application through the Pak Identity website, where you can apply for the Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP) and have it delivered to your address.

NADRA has categorized fee structures for NICOP based on geographical zones - Zone A and Zone B. For instance, Germany falls under Zone A, with standard fees for a new NICOP being Rs11,340, the urgent fee Rs16,589, and the executive fee Rs21,820. If applying through PakID, the fees are as specified.
