Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is gearing up to kickstart its pre-Hajj flight operations from May 9, 2024, until June 10, 2024. During this period, PIA will be operating direct flights to Jeddah and Madina from eight major cities in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Quetta, Sialkot, and Sukkur.

PIA aims to assist around 34,000 pilgrims through a total of 170 flights. Among these, 19,000 pilgrims are part of the government scheme, while the remaining 15,000 are private pilgrims. To enhance the travel experience for pilgrims, PIA will provide Saudi immigration facilities at Karachi and Islamabad airports as part of the Road to Mecca Project.

Pilgrims are encouraged to provide their mobile numbers during ticket booking to receive essential updates about their flights. This service will help pilgrims avoid long queues for immigration in Jeddah or Madinah, ensuring a smoother journey.

With the commencement of pre-Hajj flight operations, PIA is dedicated to ensuring a hassle-free travel experience for pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journey. By offering direct flights and convenient immigration facilities, PIA is committed to making the pilgrimage process more efficient and comfortable for all travelers.
