ISPR leads Pakistan's forces against cross-border terrorism

Pakistan's security forces, under the guidance of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), are steadfast in their mission to protect the nation's people. Recent reports from the military's media wing have highlighted a surge in terrorist activities originating from across the border in Afghanistan. These militants often try to infiltrate into Pakistan to launch attacks on both security personnel and innocent civilians.

Since April 21, security forces have been actively engaged in operations along the border and in various regions to counter these threats. Their dedicated efforts have led to the elimination of 29 terrorists in the past month. Tragically, during an operation on May 14, 2024, Major Babar Khan made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country.

The ISPR has reiterated the military's unwavering commitment to securing the borders and ensuring the safety of Pakistani citizens from terrorist threats. Pakistan has consistently called upon the Interim Afghan Government to strengthen border controls on their side to prevent terrorists from using Afghan territory as a launchpad for attacks on Pakistan. It is hoped that Afghan authorities will fulfill their obligations in this critical matter.
