The Rawalpindi Jashn-e-Baharan festival has been postponed to the first week of May due to heavy rain forecast. All preparations were underway at Allama Iqbal Park Rawalpindi, but the decision was influenced by the National Disaster Management Authority's prediction of heavy rains nationwide.

The Rawalpindi Jashn-e-Baharan festival, originally scheduled to take place from April 26 to 28, has been postponed due to the forecast of heavy rain. The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi spokesperson confirmed that all preparations for the festival at Allama Iqbal Park Rawalpindi were underway. However, in light of the expected heavy rainfall not only in Rawalpindi but across the country, the decision was made to delay the event.

The Jashn-e-Baharan festival, a celebration of spring, will now be held in the first week of May. The exact date for the rescheduled event will be announced shortly. This decision was influenced by the National Disaster Management Authority's prediction of heavy rains from April 26 to 29 nationwide.
