Rawalpindi Zoo Ensures Animal Safety Amid Heat Wave

As temperatures soar, a proactive plan has been implemented to safeguard captive wild animals and birds from the adverse effects of heat waves. The Rawalpindi Zoo has taken various measures to ensure the well-being of its animal residents during this challenging period.

Water ponds have been strategically placed within the enclosures of tigers, bears, monkeys, zebras, deer, wolves, and different bird species to provide them with access to cool water. Additionally, air conditioning units, air coolers, and mist fans have been installed in the tiger enclosures to help them cope with the heat.
