PMYP Extends NYC Application Deadline to July 10

The Prime Minister Youth Programme (PMYP) office has announced an extension of the deadline for joining the National Youth Council (NYC) to July 10. The NYC, a part of the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, is now open for applications from young leaders aged 15 to 29 until the new deadline.

The NYC's primary goal is to provide a platform for youth development and engagement in governance. Council members will offer non-partisan advice to the Prime Minister, allowing young individuals to actively participate in shaping the future of Pakistan by applying on the PMYP website.

Key objectives of the NYC include providing policy support to provincial youth ministries, establishing an official platform for a consortium of youth organizations, and formalizing the council through the development of its constitution and the selection/election of future members.

Youth from all regions of Pakistan, including Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Overseas Pakistanis, are eligible to apply for membership in the National Youth Council.
