Saudi Arabia enhances Hajj experience with electric scooters

Saudi Arabia has taken a significant step to enhance the experience of pilgrims during the annual Hajj season by constructing special tracks for electric scooters. These tracks aim to provide convenience and ease of transportation for the pilgrims as they embark on their spiritual journey.

The transport authorities have dedicated 1,000 electric scooters to assist pilgrims in navigating the pilgrimage sites. These scooters will play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of pilgrims and ensuring a smooth pilgrimage experience.

According to reports from Arab media sources, three designated tracks, each 1.2 km long, have been established for the pilgrims' use. The first track connects Muzdalifah and Mina, the second track leads to the Jamarat Bridge, and the third track follows the route to Jamarat, providing pilgrims with efficient transportation options.

In preparation for the influx of pilgrims, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs has completed arrangements to welcome pilgrims at the Al-Khaif Mosque in Mina. With a capacity to accommodate 25,000 worshippers, the mosque is fully equipped to cater to the needs of pilgrims during their stay, ensuring a comfortable and fulfilling pilgrimage experience.

The introduction of electric scooter tracks and the provision of dedicated scooters for pilgrims demonstrate Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing the Hajj experience for all participants.
