Minister Naqvi Praises Pakistan Rangers Sindh Operations

Minister for Interior, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, praised the Pakistan Rangers Sindh for their crucial role in maintaining law and order and combating terrorism. During his visit to the Pakistan Rangers Sindh headquarters, he highlighted the Rangers' successful operations against criminal elements in riverine regions and their efforts to tackle various crimes in the province.

Naqvi reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring peace in Sindh, with a specific focus on Karachi. He received a detailed briefing on the Rangers' operational readiness, ongoing initiatives in riverine areas, and the law and order situation in Karachi.

Major General Azhar Waqas, Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh, welcomed the minister and together they paid tribute to the martyrs at the monument. In a separate development, Naqvi announced the establishment of two new Nadra Centers in Sukkur City and Rohri within three months to improve citizen access to essential documents.

During a surprise visit to the Passport Office and NADRA Regional Centre Sukkur, Naqvi emphasized the need for efficient services and directed the completion of the Passport office building within six months. He interacted with the public to address any issues they faced and assured steps to enhance the efficiency of passport offices similar to Nadra Centers.

Naqvi expressed the government's determination to enhance the law and order situation in Sindh, including Karachi, and mentioned the possibility of seeking Army assistance in Katcha operation against dacoits. He emphasized the importance of establishing peace in Kashmore, Ghotki, and Shikarpur districts, indicating upcoming discussions with the Sindh Chief Minister to address the unrest in the region.
