Terrorist Attacks in Kurram and DI Khan Regions

An explosion on Koram Road in the Kurram district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) province resulted in two deaths and injuries to five individuals on Sunday. The 1122 rescue teams confirmed the fatalities and transported the injured to a local hospital, where four of them are in critical condition.

On June 9, two separate terrorist attacks occurred in the Kurram and Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) regions, leaving at least nine people wounded, including seven army personnel. In Kurram, terrorists targeted a security checkpoint, injuring seven military personnel. Additional army forces were deployed after the attackers fled. The injured, including a major and a captain, were taken to a nearby hospital, with one in critical condition. A search operation led to the apprehension of suspects by the police.
