PTI leaders express confidence in Imran Khan's imminent release, citing lack of evidence and political motives behind legal challenges.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sardar Latif Khosa has confidently stated that PTI founder Imran Khan will be released from jail this month. Khosa mentioned that Khan's sentence in the Toshakhana case has been suspended by the court, and he believes that the cipher case will not hold up for long.

Khosa downplayed Khan's conviction in the cipher case, claiming that crucial documents were not presented in court, and Khan's involvement in the May 9 riots was not proven. He emphasized that Khan will not make any deals for his release or leave the country.

According to Khosa, Khan advocates for all institutions to operate within the boundaries of the Pakistani Constitution and opposes vindictive politics. The PTI leader also mentioned that political dialogue with Khan will only be possible once the party's mandate from the February 8 election is acknowledged.

Another PTI leader, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, echoed these sentiments, asserting that all cases against Imran Khan are politically motivated and are crumbling in court. He predicted that Khan's convictions, including in the Iddat case, will be overturned within days.

Both leaders criticized the government, with Khosa highlighting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's inability to appoint a home minister of his choice. Barrister Gohar also raised concerns about the lack of opportunities for Khan's legal team to present their arguments in various court cases.

In conclusion, the PTI leaders remain optimistic about Imran Khan's imminent release and continue to assert that the legal challenges against him lack substance and are driven by political motives.
