Toshakhana vehicles' reference hearing postponed involving political figures

The accountability court in Islamabad has delayed the hearing on the Toshakhana vehicles’ reference involving President Asif Ali Zardari, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Yousaf Raza Gilani, and others until May 7. The case revolves around allegations related to Toshakhana vehicles and has garnered significant attention due to the involvement of prominent political figures.

The accountability court in Islamabad has adjourned the hearing on the Toshakhana vehicles’ reference involving Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Yousaf Raza Gilani, and others. Judge Nasir Javed Rana presided over the proceedings, where Anwar Majeed and Arshad Tabraiz made appearances. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted a report during the hearing, which included an investigation into Nawaz Sharif. Rana Muhammad Irfan represented Nawaz Sharif in court. Arshad Tabraiz mentioned that Asif Ali Zardari had received a concession related to the case during his presidency. The accused individuals were alleged to have transferred money from a sugar mill account. Notably, the case was deemed inapplicable to Anwar Majeed and Abd-ul-Ghani Majeed.
