Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Minister for Education and Merged Areas Education Foundation are spearheading initiatives to enhance education in tribal districts through community-based centers and youth-focused programs, aiming to boost literacy rates and socio-economic development.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Minister for Education, Faisal Khan Tarakai, has unveiled a comprehensive plan to enhance education in the merged districts. The initiative focuses on establishing community-based education centers (CBEC) to tackle student drop-outs and elevate literacy rates in the region.

The provincial government is actively implementing programs like the Rented Building Program and Sabaon program to improve educational access for children and youth in tribal districts. These initiatives not only aim to provide education but also strive to create employment opportunities for educated youth, fostering overall development.

Recently, during a meeting with the Managing Director of Merged Areas Education Foundation, Mian Ainullah, it was disclosed that the foundation is actively engaged in various educational programs to uplift grassroots education in tribal districts. With a commendable enrollment of over 47,000 students in programs such as Literacy for All, CBECs, and NCHD Centers, the foundation is making remarkable progress in advancing education in the region.

Furthermore, the foundation is planning to establish additional community schools and ALP centers to offer higher education prospects to tribal youth, aiming to reduce drop-out rates and enhance educational achievements through community-based schooling.

The Minister praised the efforts of the Merged Areas Education Foundation and stressed the significance of incorporating all ongoing projects into the new Annual Development Plan (ADP) to maximize benefits for the people of tribal districts.

The initiatives undertaken by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Ministry of Education and the Merged Areas Education Foundation signify a crucial step towards improving education in the merged districts. By focusing on community-based education centers and expanding educational opportunities, the region is poised for a brighter future with increased literacy rates and reduced drop-out rates, ultimately empowering the youth and fostering socio-economic development.
