The Election Commission of Pakistan establishes the Election Monitoring and Control Center (EMCC) to oversee local government by-elections, providing multiple communication channels for lodging complaints and ensuring transparency in the electoral process.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has established the Election Monitoring and Control Center (EMCC) to oversee the upcoming local government by-elections for the Chairman Tehsil Council on April 28. This initiative aims to streamline the process and address any public complaints effectively.

The EMCC, as announced by an ECP spokesperson, will serve as a platform for individuals to report any issues related to the elections in six districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Trained staff members are on standby to handle complaints promptly and ensure timely resolutions.

Furthermore, the ECP has set up control centers at various levels, including provincial, divisional, and district levels, along with the Election Commission Secretariat in Islamabad. These control rooms will maintain constant communication with relevant stakeholders and personnel throughout the electoral process.

To facilitate the public in lodging complaints, the ECP has provided multiple channels for communication. Individuals can reach out to the EMCC via email at complaints@ecp.gov.pk or utilize the round-the-clock helpline at 051-111-327-000. Additionally, complaints can be submitted through fax at 051-9204404.

The EMCC is equipped with monitoring capabilities for social media and electronic media, ensuring comprehensive oversight of the electoral proceedings. The control center will remain operational until the conclusion of the by-elections, emphasizing the ECP's commitment to transparency and accountability in the electoral process.

The establishment of the Election Monitoring and Control Center by the ECP demonstrates a proactive approach to address public concerns and ensure the smooth conduct of local government by-elections. By providing accessible channels for lodging complaints and deploying trained staff to resolve issues promptly, the ECP aims to uphold the integrity of the electoral process and enhance public trust in the democratic system.
