Federal Minister for SAFRON and Kashmir Gilgit Baltistan Affairs, Engr Amir Muqam, emphasized the need for opposition parties to adopt a constructive approach rather than resorting to confrontational protests. Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of the Buner District Bar Council Association, he highlighted the futility of past protests and urged lawyers to focus on public service rather than political exploitation.

Minister Muqam stressed the importance of addressing public issues and contributing to the country's best interests. He acknowledged the economic challenges, particularly inflation, and reaffirmed the government's commitment to overcoming it. He commended the efforts of the SIFC in attracting investments and defended the equitable resource allocation facilitated by the NFC award.

Administering the oath to the newly elected Bar Council Association body, Minister Muqam announced a grant of Rs 2 million for the association. He also promised efforts to provide gas facilities and a motorway link road in Buner, emphasizing the people's right to access gas in the region.
