The recent third meeting of the Pakistan-China Joint Consultative Mechanism (JCM) of Political Parties on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Islamabad brought together political leaders from both countries to discuss the ongoing development projects and future collaborations.

The JCM, established in 2019, serves as a platform for regular consultations between the Communist Party of China and Pakistani political parties. The meeting, co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Minister Liu Jianchao, emphasized the importance of internal stability for Pakistan's development, highlighting the rare political consensus among various parties.
