The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, met with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to address pending financial and developmental issues between the federal and provincial governments. During the meeting, PM Sharif emphasized the importance of resolving these issues promptly to facilitate progress on developmental projects and financial matters. He pledged to provide 150 buses to the provincial government as a sign of commitment.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah highlighted several key issues, including arrears and shortfalls in federal transfers, delays in federal government shares for housing and school reconstruction projects, and the need for federal funding for various schemes in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).

Specific projects such as the lining of the KB Feeder, Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway, and Jamshoro-Sehwan Road were discussed, with requests for federal support to expedite their completion. The Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project also featured prominently, with calls for the facilitation of a framework agreement for its execution under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The meeting concluded with Prime Minister Sharif instructing relevant ministers to address the outstanding issues promptly and ensure the timely release of funds for critical projects. The commitment to resolving these issues underscores the government's dedication to promoting development and addressing financial challenges in Sindh.
