PTI Granted Permission for Islamabad Rally with Conditions

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been given the green light to hold a rally in Islamabad on June 8, subject to specific conditions. The Deputy Commissioner has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the PTI rally, scheduled to take place at Rawat T-Chowk from 4 PM to 7 PM. To ensure the smooth conduct of the event, the NOC includes 39 conditions that the PTI must adhere to.

Among the key stipulations outlined in the NOC is the strict prohibition of any speeches or slogans that are anti-state in nature. Additionally, the rally must conclude punctually at the designated time, and the use of fireworks is strictly prohibited. Participants are expected to respect public property and refrain from causing any damage. PTI has been tasked with the responsibility of maintaining security throughout the duration of the rally.

Initially, PTI had sought permission to hold the rally at F-9 Park; however, the venue was later changed to Rawat T-Chowk for the event scheduled on June 8.

The approval granted to PTI for the rally in Islamabad comes with a set of stringent conditions aimed at ensuring the peaceful and orderly conduct of the event. By complying with these conditions, PTI can demonstrate its commitment to organizing a responsible and law-abiding gathering that respects the rules and regulations set forth by the authorities.
