The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed a petition with the Islamabad High Court to reopen its central secretariat after a section was demolished by the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The petition alleges unjust actions by the authorities and seeks justice through legal intervention.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken a significant step by approaching the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to request the reopening of its central secretariat in Islamabad. This move follows the recent demolition of a section of the PTI Central Secretariat by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) due to a violation of building regulations.

The CDA's anti-encroachment team carried out the demolition as part of an operation aimed at removing unauthorized construction and encroachment in the area. Expressing dissatisfaction with the demolition, the PTI raised its concerns in the Senate and subsequently filed a petition through its secretary general, Omar Ayub Khan.

The petition, which names several key officials as parties in the case, alleges that the demolition was conducted without prior notice or legal basis. The PTI leader has accused the authorities of malicious intent, blackmail, and a violation of constitutional principles in their actions.

The petition also highlighted that PTI members Arshad Dad and Naseem ur Rehman had legally purchased a commercial plot in Sector G-8/4-2 in 2020. The PTI is seeking the court's intervention to address what it perceives as an unjust and unlawful act by the authorities.

The PTI's legal action to reopen its central secretariat underscores the party's commitment to upholding its rights and challenging what it views as unjust actions by the authorities. The case will now be deliberated in the Islamabad High Court, where the PTI will present its arguments in seeking justice and resolution in this matter.
