Karachi witnessed a historic moment as the first flight from Azerbaijan landed at Jinnah International Airport, receiving a grand welcome. The arrival was marked by a spectacular salute from water cannons, setting a celebratory tone for the inaugural flight's passengers and crew.

The distinguished guests present at the event included Governor Sind Kamran Tesori, Provincial Minister for Commerce and Industries Jam Ikram, and key officials from Civil Aviation. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, graced the occasion with his presence, adding to the significance of the moment.

The ceremony also featured a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the strengthening of ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Currently, Azerbaijan Airlines operates two flights each from Islamabad and Lahore, further enhancing connectivity between the two nations.
