The Port Qasim Authority in Karachi experiences a bustling 24 hours with multiple ships loading and unloading cargo, handling substantial volumes efficiently.

The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) in Karachi has been bustling with maritime activity over the past 24 hours. Three ships, Seaspan Beacon, SSL Brahmaputra, and Haj Muhammad, were busy loading and unloading containers and cement at the Container Terminal and Multi-Purpose Terminal. Additionally, the arrival of the ship 'Doha' carrying Liquefied Natural Gas added to the port's busy schedule.

During this period, a total of nine ships were docked at PQA berths, with six of them, including SSL Brahmaputra, Seaspan Beacon, and Seacon Yokohama, set to sail out today. The port handled a substantial cargo volume of 115,266 tonnes, consisting of 87,961 tonnes of imports and 27,305 tonnes of exports, carried in 3,291 containers.

Currently, there are three ships at the Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, with two of them, Lila Ace and Doha, expected to berth at EVTL and EETL today. Furthermore, two container ships, CMA CGM Nabuco and Apollon-D, are scheduled to arrive at Port Qasim on Saturday, adding to the port's busy operations.
