The FPCCI's Businessmen Panel, led by Mian Anjum Nisar, stresses the need for government action to promote industrialization, enhance exports, and support businesses in Pakistan. Nisar highlights challenges faced by exporters and proposes solutions such as task forces, tax reforms, and seeking technical know-how for innovation.

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry’s (FPCCI) Businessmen Panel (BMP) has emphasized the need for promoting industrialization and enhancing exports in Pakistan. The former president of FPCCI and BMP Chairman, Mian Anjum Nisar, highlighted the challenges faced by the business community due to limited business opportunities. He called for the government's attention to address these issues by implementing various measures.

Nisar suggested the formation of task forces at regional, provincial, and central levels to tackle problems faced by exporters. He proposed the introduction of a One Window Operation to streamline procedures and reduce interactions with multiple agencies. Additionally, he urged the government to merge Social Security, EOBI, and other taxes, deducting them at the source to ease the burden on businesses.

Furthermore, Nisar stressed the importance of seeking technical know-how from countries like China to drive innovation and improve product quality. He advocated for reforms in tax collection, emphasizing the need to broaden the tax base and improve compliance. Nisar also highlighted the significance of import substitution industries to reduce import bills and enhance economic stability.

In conclusion, Nisar called for urgent government intervention to support the business community, create employment opportunities, and boost exports. He underscored the importance of focusing on value addition, promoting exports, and making domestic industries more competitive to drive sustainable economic growth in Pakistan.
