UN Women and ICCI Advocate Women's Economic Empowerment

Women's economic empowerment was highlighted as a crucial human rights issue by Lansana Wonneh, the Country Representative of UN Women. The remarks were made during the National Women Trade Fair Certificate Distribution Ceremony and Eid Milan Party, organized in collaboration with Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Commission on the Status of Women. Nilofar Bakhtiar, Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women, echoed the significance of empowering women economically for societal development.
