In a recent development in Faisalabad, 24 officers from the Patrolling Post Pansara faced suspension due to corruption allegations. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Patrolling Faisalabad, Mirza Anjum Kamal, took this action on Sunday following a sting operation that uncovered corrupt practices among the night shift personnel. The suspended officers include a sub-inspector, an ASI, and several constables.

The sting operation was conducted by SSP Kamal and DSP Nasrullah in response to reports of misconduct at the Pansara post. It was revealed that the officers were accepting bribes to turn a blind eye to violations involving overloaded trolleys. SSP Kamal emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, stating, 'There will be no tolerance for dishonesty and corruption under any circumstances.'
