Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan emphasizes the need to boost exports for economic stability. He urges private sector involvement and highlights opportunities for investment and trade with Saudi Arabia.

Federal Minister for Privatization, Board of Investment, and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, highlighted the importance of increasing exports to enhance foreign reserves and stabilize the national economy. During a meeting with business community and investors in Karachi, he urged the private sector to seize new opportunities across various industries to elevate the national export rate.

Minister Khan emphasized the necessity of taking strategic actions, particularly in light of the Pak-Saudi investment and export agreements. He stressed the need to enhance the export sector's capacity to generate more employment opportunities through increased investments.

He encouraged the private sector to explore domestic and international investment prospects, assuring government support in facilitating their endeavors. The Minister welcomed a high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia, expressing optimism about strengthening bilateral trade relations between the two countries.

The meeting also saw Federal Secretary of Commerce, Saleh Farooqui, briefing attendees on the current export landscape, highlighting significant opportunities in agriculture, textiles, information technology, pharmaceuticals, mobiles, sports equipment, minerals, and other sectors.

Key business figures, investors, and community leaders pledged their full support to the government's initiatives. They committed to collaborating closely with the Saudi delegation to maximize Pakistan's export potential. The Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Zubair Motiwala, was also present at the meeting.
