Abdul Rehman's Gruesome Murders Shock Gujar Khan

In a chilling turn of events, the Jhelum police recently made a gruesome discovery in Gujar Khan, uncovering the brutal murders of two missing individuals. The victims, identified as Syed Iftikhar ul Hassan Shah and Nasreen Akhtar, were found buried in a room belonging to the perpetrator, Abdul Rehman, a notorious criminal with a history of serious offenses.

Syed Iftikhar ul Hassan Shah, a resident of Jasrota village, had been missing since May 9. Through meticulous investigative work aided by technical support and mobile data analysis, the Mangla police were able to pinpoint Abdul Rehman's residence in the Hassanabad area of Kala Gujran police station near Jhelum city.

Abdul Rehman confessed to the murder of Iftikhar ul Hassan Shah, 46, revealing that he had used hammers to repeatedly strike the victim on the head. Shockingly, the police also discovered the body of Nasreen Akhtar, aged 50, buried in the same room. A separate case has been filed against Abdul Rehman under section 302 PPC for the murder of Nasreen Akhtar.

Abdul Rehman's criminal past came to light, with previous charges related to robberies and murders. Notably, he was implicated in multiple murders, including a heinous incident in Saggarpur village in 2015 where he killed a mother and her daughter during a robbery. Despite being involved in the fatal assault of an accomplice in 2010, Abdul Rehman was acquitted of murder charges by the high court.

The commendable efforts of the police investigation team led by Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Rawalpindi, Babar Sarfraz Alpa, and District Police Officer (DPO) of Jhelum, Nasir Mahmood Bajwa, were instrumental in solving these heinous crimes and bringing justice to the victims and their families.
