Allah Dino, also known as Babal Khan Bhayo, resigns as advisor to Sindh CM amidst a weapons smuggling scandal. Law enforcement foils operation, leading to arrests and ATC oversight.

Allah Dino, also known as Babal Khan Bhayo, has stepped down from his role as advisor to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah amidst a controversy surrounding an intercepted weapons smuggling operation. The incident, which took place between Balochistan and Jacobabad, has sent shockwaves through the region.

Law enforcement agencies successfully foiled the smuggling attempt, seizing a significant arsenal of arms and ammunition including sub-machine guns, rifles, magazines, and bullets. The operation also led to the apprehension of four smugglers and three policemen, including an assistant sub-inspector, who were allegedly involved in escorting the smugglers' vehicle.

Bhayo, in a bid to ensure a transparent investigation, tendered his resignation urging CM Shah to accept it promptly. Despite vehemently denying any connection to the smuggling operation, Bhayo found himself at the center of the storm as the police vehicle assigned to him was implicated in the incident.

Authorities have taken swift action by remanding the accused into custody for further investigation. The Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) is now overseeing the case, with the police revealing that intelligence reports had hinted at the weapons being destined for potential terrorist activities in Shikarpur.

The unfolding scandal has raised serious questions about security protocols and accountability within the Sindh government. As the investigation progresses, all eyes will be on the authorities to ensure that justice is served and that such incidents are prevented in the future.
