The Gomal Scouts Force successfully thwarted a smuggling attempt in a recent operation. Commandant Moeen Uddin of the Gomal Scouts Force reported that a truck carrying timber was intercepted by FC personnel at the Gardavi check post on Gomal Zam Wana. The truck, en route from Wana to Dera Ismail Khan, was found to be loaded with a significant amount of wood during inspection.

FC sources revealed that the confiscated wood, valued at millions of rupees, was neatly bundled in the truck. Commandant Moeen Uddin further stated that the truck and its illicit cargo were handed over to officials from the South Waziristan Forest Department for further action.

Emphasizing the government's strict stance against smuggling, FC sources reiterated that all forms of illegal business activities, including smuggling, have been banned by the federal government. Stringent measures are being implemented to curb smuggling activities and maintain law and order in the region.
