The armed men, strategically positioned on nearby hills, kidnapped the 10 individuals, including Mohammad Hamza, Mohammad Haris, four brothers from Quetta - Hassan Raza, Rehan Raza, Farhan Raza, and Mohammad Raza, Jahanzeb from Sadiqabad, and Customs official Abdul Baseer Durrani from Quetta. The identities of the other two abducted individuals remain unknown at this time.
During the abduction, the militants released four individuals in a mountainous area before abandoning their vehicle.
