The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), operating under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, is embarking on a significant project to construct a new Academic Block at the OPF Higher Secondary Girls School in Rawalpindi. This initiative reflects the government's unwavering dedication to providing top-notch education to both the children of overseas Pakistanis and the local community.
The current student body at the OPF Girls Higher Secondary School in Rawalpindi consists of 710 students, with 279 being children of Overseas Pakistanis. The upcoming Academic Block, covering an area of 21057 square feet, is designed to accommodate an additional 300 students. The estimated cost for the construction of this block is Rs.99.93 million. Once completed, the block will house various facilities including classrooms, daycare services, a conference room, an art studio, a medical room, and a cafeteria.
This strategic development is in line with the vision of the Prime Minister and highlights the Ministry's continuous efforts to enhance amenities and assistance for Pakistani expatriates globally.
