Woman arrested for assaulting traffic police officer in Islamabad

In a recent incident in Islamabad, a viral video surfaced on the internet capturing a woman engaging in a heated altercation with a traffic police officer. The video depicted the woman aggressively hitting the officer, sparking widespread outrage and calls for her arrest.

Following public outcry, the woman has now been apprehended by authorities. She was taken into custody in the capital city and subsequently transferred to Rawalpindi to face legal proceedings. The incident, which took place in January, involved the woman sitting in a White Honda Civic and verbally abusing the on-duty police officer before resorting to physical violence.

The accused woman's actions, which included attempting to run over a police officer, led to a case being registered against her at the Nasirabad Police Station based on a complaint filed by the Motorway Police personnel.
