CM Gilgit-Baltistan unveils Women's Caucus conference room

Chief Minister (CM) Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan, accompanied by Speaker Nazir Ahmed Advocate and Deputy Speaker Sadia Danish, recently unveiled a newly established conference room at the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly. This conference room has been specifically designated for the Women's Parliamentary Caucus, marking a significant step towards promoting gender equality and women's empowerment in the region.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of various members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, including Kulsoom Farman, the President of the Women's Parliamentary Caucus, and other Caucus members. The primary objective behind this dedicated space is to provide a conducive environment for women parliamentarians to actively participate in discussions, debates, and deliberations on crucial matters, thereby amplifying their involvement in the legislative process.
