Balochistan CM launches Chaman Master Plan Project

The 'Chaman Master Plan Project' was officially launched by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti during his recent visit to the border town of Chaman. This project comes as a significant development for the district of Chaman, which had been grappling with protests from the local business community over the single-document regime imposed by the federal government following a decision by the apex committee in June 2023.

The primary objective of the Chaman Master Plan Project is to revamp the town into a thriving Border Trade hub, shifting away from its current reputation as a hotspot for smuggling activities. CM Balochistan, along with provincial ministers, the speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, MPA-elect Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, and other MPAs, marked the inauguration with optimism and enthusiasm.
