General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), led the 264th Corps Commanders’ Conference at GHQ, where tributes were paid to the sacrifices of Shuhadas and efforts to maintain peace in the country were acknowledged. The COAS commended the Pakistan Army and Law Enforcement Agencies for their successful counterterrorism operations, emphasizing the need to proactively combat terrorist activities. He expressed determination to eradicate terrorism with the support of the nation.

The conference condemned recent terrorist attacks on Chinese nationals in Besham and civilians in Balochistan.
