Commissioner Khattak and RPO Alpa celebrated Eid with prisoners, children, and patients, emphasizing care and joy.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Aamir Khattak and Regional Police Officer (RPO) Babar Sarfraz Alpa recently visited Adyala Jail and SOS Village to celebrate Eid ul Fitr with prisoners and patients. The dignitaries were joined by Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hasan Waqar Cheema during their visit.

During the visit to Adyala Jail, Commissioner Khattak distributed gifts to children under 15 years old and inspected the hospital within the premises. He emphasized the importance of providing proper treatment to the patients and instructed the hospital management to ensure their well-being. Additionally, arrangements for special meals for the prisoners during Eid were directed by the commissioner.

Expressing satisfaction with the facilities at Adiala Jail, both the commissioner and RPO then visited SOS Village where they spent time with the children, cutting an Eid cake and distributing gifts. The visit continued to the Child Protection Bureau, where Commissioner Khattak highlighted the need for special attention to the children there. He instructed the administration to organize a visit to an amusement park and a pizza party for the children, emphasizing the importance of meeting their needs.

Concluding the visit, the commissioner also visited Holy Family Hospital, where he interacted with patients, distributed Eid sweets to doctors and paramedical staff, and commended the medical team for their dedicated service during the Eid holidays. Deputy Commissioner Cheema noted the special measures taken for children at SOS Village and the Child Protection Bureau to ensure a joyous Eid celebration for them.
