The Counter Terrorism Department has recently made a significant arrest in Matiari district, apprehending a suspected terrorist associated with the banned Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM). The suspect, identified as Waqar alias Vicky, was taken into custody following a successful operation. Among the items confiscated from his possession were a pistol, bullets, cash, a motorbike, and cash receipts.

Upon his arrest, Waqar alias Vicky was promptly transferred to the CTD's police station in Hyderabad. He has been formally charged under the relevant sections of the Anti Terrorism Act, 1997, and the Sindh Arms Act, 2013.
