Dr. Al-Issa's visit to Pakistan strengthens ties, promotes unity, and highlights support for the Palestinian cause within the Muslim community.

The secretary-general of the Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, concluded his nine-day visit to Pakistan with a meeting with prominent Pakistani religious leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and other scholars in Islamabad. Dr. Al-Issa's visit aimed at fostering interfaith harmony and strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Al-Issa, who heads the MWL, a Makkah-based NGO representing Muslims worldwide, delivered the Eid Al-Fitr sermon at the Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, urging Muslims to keep Palestinians in their prayers. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, leader of the JUI-F party, welcomed Dr. Al-Issa and highlighted the significant role of Pakistani scholars in the Muslim community.

During the meeting, Rehman criticized Israel's military campaign in Gaza, emphasizing the need for unity within the Muslim Ummah. He praised the longstanding spiritual bond between Pakistani scholars and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Al-Issa also visited the Ali bin Abi Talib Orphanage in Islamabad and attended the foundation laying ceremony of the Seerat Museum, which will exhibit relics related to Prophet Muhammad's life, the first of its kind.

In conclusion, Dr. Al-Issa's visit to Pakistan not only strengthened ties between the two countries but also highlighted the importance of unity and support for the Palestinian cause within the Muslim community.
