During Eid ul Fitr, CTO Taimoor Khan praised the traffic police for effectively managing the surge in visitors to Murree, with over 55,000 vehicles. The deployment of 300 officials and distribution of 30,000 safety pamphlets contributed to maintaining order and promoting road safety.

Over the Eid ul Fitr holiday, Murree saw a significant surge in visitors, with more than 55,000 vehicles flocking to the popular hill station to celebrate the occasion. The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Taimoor Khan commended the effective arrangements put in place to ensure smooth traffic flow despite the high volume of tourists.

Khan credited the success to the meticulous execution of the traffic plan, which involved the deployment of 300 traffic officials. This strategic approach helped prevent any major traffic incidents and maintain order on the roads. The dedicated efforts of these officers did not go unnoticed, as they provided assistance to over 12,840 tourists by offering guidance and support.

Moreover, the authorities distributed more than 30,000 awareness and safety pamphlets among visitors to promote road safety during the festive period. CTO Taimoor Khan highlighted the unwavering dedication and professionalism displayed by the traffic police officers and jawans throughout the holy month of Ramadan and the celebratory period of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In recognition of their outstanding performance, CTO Taimoor Khan announced plans to award commendation certificates to those who demonstrated exemplary service during this busy period.
