DC Sukkur Conducts Surprise Visit to Filling Stations

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sukkur, Raja MB Dharejo, conducted a surprise visit to various filling stations in the district on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr. The purpose of the visit was to inspect the prices and gauge accuracy of petroleum products being sold to consumers. During the inspection, he also checked the availability of stock of petroleum products.

DC Dharejo issued a stern warning to the owners of the filling stations, cautioning them that strict action would be taken against anyone found involved in creating an artificial crisis of petroleum products in the market. He specifically highlighted the consequences that would be faced by those tampering with the scales used for selling petroleum products.

The visit was carried out in response to directives from the divisional commissioner, Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi, with the aim of ensuring that citizens are not overcharged for petroleum products. DC Dharejo emphasized that no individual or entity would be allowed to flout the officially prescribed rates for these essential commodities.
