Saddar Zone Officials Crack Down on Illegal Filling Stations

In a bid to tackle unauthorized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and petrol filling stations, the Assistant Commissioner (AC) of the Saddar Zone, in collaboration with the Magistrate, launched a robust campaign. This initiative was set in motion following the directives of Islamabad's Deputy Commissioner (DC), Irfan Nawaz Memon. The joint efforts of the officials and district administration teams led to a series of raids across various areas in Saddar to combat illicit practices.

One of the key outcomes of the operation was the discovery and subsequent closure of an illegal LPG filling station by the Assistant Commissioner. Furthermore, four individuals involved in unlawful activities were apprehended and handed over to the authorities for further action.

The crackdown on price hikes, encroachments, and other violations forms part of an ongoing drive that highlights the unwavering commitment of the authorities to uphold the rule of law and protect consumers from exploitation. The Assistant Commissioner reiterated that the safety of citizens remains the top priority for the district government, and any attempts to compromise it will not be tolerated.
