LDA Ensures Eid Break Compliance with Building Regulations

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has taken proactive measures to prevent unauthorized constructions during the Eid-ul-Adha break. Specialized teams, consisting of personnel from various LDA wings, have been deployed to monitor and intervene in any illegal building activities. The Director of the Administration and Enforcement Wing at LDA has issued a duty notice to ensure strict enforcement.

Reports of unauthorized constructions will be promptly addressed by these teams, even during the Eid holidays. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed the LDA Enforcement Squad to conduct a flag march in different areas of Lahore, emphasizing the need for heightened vigilance during weekends and holidays to deter violators of construction regulations.

Director General Farooq has allocated specific duties to the LDA Enforcement Squad and other staff members for the Eid period. The flag march initiative by LDA serves to educate the public and raise awareness about the risks associated with illegal construction practices.
