Federal Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan announces a major infrastructure development plan in Pakistan, including new motorways to boost connectivity and economic growth. The Federal Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has recently announced a major infrastructure development plan aimed at enhancing connectivity and boosting economic growth in Pakistan. The plan includes the construction of new motorways to connect key cities such as Gilgit, Skardu, and Karachi.

Minister Khan unveiled the ambitious project during the 14th passing out ceremony of the Motorway Police Training College in Sheikhupura. The new motorways are expected to play a crucial role in improving transportation links and facilitating trade within the region.

One of the key highlights of the plan is the construction of a motorway from Mansehra to Babusar Top, Gilgit, and Skardu. This initiative is set to provide a significant impetus to the tourism industry in Gilgit-Baltistan, attracting more visitors and boosting the local economy.

Additionally, a new motorway connecting Sukkur, Hyderabad, and Karachi is also in the pipeline. This route is anticipated to reduce travel time between the provinces and enhance commercial activities, ultimately fostering economic development.

During the ceremony, Inspector General (IG) Motorway Police Salman Chaudhry commended the Motorway Police for their commendable efforts in ensuring road safety despite facing resource constraints. Commandant Training College Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Syed Hashmat Kamal underscored the importance of professional training and personal development for police officers to effectively carry out their duties.

The announcement of these new motorways marks a significant stride towards bolstering Pakistan's infrastructure and stimulating economic progress. The government's unwavering commitment to development is poised to usher in a new era of prosperity and advancement for the country.
