The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, recently visited the Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road Project to personally inspect the service roads from Saggian Interchange to Babu Sabu. This project aims to improve the infrastructure and traffic flow in the area. During her inspection, she focused on the elevated Bund Road and highlighted the importance of addressing the issues faced by the public due to the service roads promptly. She directed the authorities to ensure the timely completion of the project to benefit the residents.

Prior to the inspection, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was briefed by DG LDA Tahir Farooq and Chief Engineer LDA Israr Saeed. They updated her on the progress, mentioning that the high-rise area of Package-II is now fully accessible to traffic. The Chief Minister was accompanied by MPA Sania Ashiq, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Principal Secretary to CM Sajid Zafar Dal, and officials from LDA during her visit.
