Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi introduces projects to enhance emergency services, waste management, and urban development in Islamabad, aiming to transform the city into a modern and well-equipped model city.

During a recent visit to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi introduced a range of projects to improve services for the residents of Islamabad. These initiatives aim to make Islamabad a model city by enhancing emergency services, waste management, city surveillance, urban development, and water supply.

Minister Naqvi highlighted the urgency of implementing these projects to uplift the city's infrastructure. He interacted with the Ambulance 1122 and Fire Brigade teams, urging them to perform their duties diligently. As part of the reforms, he instructed the integration of Ambulance, Fire Brigade, and Water Rescue Services under Capital Emergency Services, simplifying access to emergency aid through Rescue 1122. Moreover, a centralized emergency control room with GPS vehicle tracking will be set up in CDA for swift response.

The minister stressed the significance of thorough staff training and the establishment of new emergency service stations across Islamabad. He also called for transparent recruitment within the Capital Development Authority and proposed an increase in the number of ambulances to enhance community service.

Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, and other emergency services officials attended the announcement, demonstrating the government's dedication to enhancing services and safety in the capital.

The unveiling of these initiatives by Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi marks a significant step towards improving the quality of life for residents in Islamabad. With a focus on efficient emergency services, waste management, urban development, and water supply, these projects are poised to transform Islamabad into a modern and well-equipped city, ensuring the well-being and safety of its citizens.
