The Graduation Ceremony at PAF Academy Asghar Khan honors top cadets with awards presented by General Syed Asim Munir and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.

The Graduation Ceremony of the 149th GD (P), 95th Engg, 105th Air Defence, 25th A&SD, 8th Log, and 131st Combat Support Courses took place at PAF Academy Asghar Khan in Rawalpindi. The event, held on Thursday, was graced by Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, and Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.

A total of 144 Aviation Cadets, 1 Gentleman Cadet, and 4 Naval Cadets graduated during the ceremony. The Chief Guest, General Syed Asim Munir, awarded trophies to the distinction holders in various categories.

  • Sword of Honour: Aviation Cadet Squadron Under Officer Muhammad Junaid Malik for best performance in College of Flying Training.
  • Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Trophy: Aviation Cadet Sargent Faseeh Abbas for best performance in General Service Training.
  • Chief of the Air Staff Trophies: Aviation Cadet Habib Ur Rehman, Muhammad Arsalan Shakeel, and Khushhal Khan for top performances in Air Defence, Admin & Special Duties, and Combat Support Courses respectively.
  • Best Performance in Engineering: Pakistan Naval Cadet Sargent Amanullah.

In his address, General Syed Asim Munir praised the graduating cadets and their families. He commended the Pakistan Air Force for its dedication to national defense, emphasizing their professionalism and bravery.

The ceremony concluded with an impressive aerial display featuring fighter aircraft and aerobatics, witnessed by esteemed military and civilian dignitaries, as well as proud parents of the graduating cadets.
