In Mamond tehsil of Bajaur district, a devastating incident unfolded when an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a vehicle carrying a generator mechanic and his driver. The explosion occurred in the Bandagai area, leading to the untimely death of Etebar Khan, the generator mechanic hailing from Babulai in Khar tehsil. His driver, Muhammad Noor, sustained injuries in the blast.

According to the police report, Etebar Khan and Muhammad Noor were on their way transporting machinery when the IED went off, causing extensive damage to their vehicle. Tragically, the mechanic, Etebar Khan, lost his life in the attack, while his driver, Muhammad Noor, was injured and is currently undergoing medical treatment.
