Global Report Reveals Alarming Lack of Freedom of Expression

Recent data reveals that only a small fraction of the global population lives in countries that support open expression of opinions. A comprehensive report analyzed 161 countries using 25 different indicators to determine their Expression Scores, which range from 0 to 100.

These scores reflect the level of freedom individuals have to express their thoughts and opinions without fear of censorship or persecution. Countries with higher scores are considered more open, while those with lower scores have more restricted environments for free expression.
