The Sindh IGP forms a committee to investigate SSP Sammu's involvement in releasing his gunman from custody.

The Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ghulam Nabi Memon has taken action by forming a three-member committee to look into the case involving SSP Shikarpur Irfan Sammu and his gunman. The committee, comprising DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab Pathan, SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Tanveer Tunio, and SSP Sukkur Amjad Sheikh, has been given a deadline of seven days to present their findings.

The incident centers around Sajjad Shahani, the SSP's gunman, who was arrested for allegedly aiding in the release of two policemen in exchange for freeing two dacoits. Upon orders from DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab Pathan, Shahani was taken into custody. However, the situation took a dramatic turn when the SSP, along with seven mobile vans, forcibly removed Shahani from police custody.
