An inquiry committee has been established by the provincial government in Dera Ismail Khan to investigate the leakage of Islamiat paper for matriculation students. The issue came to light when short questions from the paper surfaced on WhatsApp groups, prompting complaints from several schools. Following social media backlash and criticism, the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa intervened and directed the formation of the committee.

Chaired by Grievances Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan, the committee, led by Commissioner Zafarul Islam, has been tasked with probing the publication of the leaked paper. The investigation aims to identify those responsible for the misconduct and negligence that led to the paper leak. The committee is expected to submit its report within three days after thorough examination of the matter.

The leakage of the 10th class Islamiat paper scheduled for April 18 in BISE Dera Ismail Khan has raised concerns among students, parents, and educational authorities. The swift response from the government in initiating an inquiry reflects the seriousness with which such incidents are being addressed to uphold the integrity of the examination system.
